The ’74 offers a bright and punchy mid ’70s voiced Strat coil sound with solid bass response and a dynamic, woody character with fantastic snap in the high-end.
It delivers a smooth, unadulterated tone with excellent pick attack from Alnico 5 magnets and Plain Enamel wire. Also the higher output with modern edge to the sound are for a more driven tone and increased midrange presence over vintage spec pickups. Rock, classic rock and country are highly recommended.
